This is the existing rail right of way in #Halifax, which could be converted into commuter rail. Most of the double track has been removed by CN for 'efficiency' reasons ($$ spent on maintenance 🙄). It is fully grade separated and travels along some of the most congested areas of HRM /1

With stops Downtown, Fairview, Larry Uteck, Mill Cove, Windsor Junction, Sackville (any others in between), we could offer service to a huge portion of the daily commuters in HRM. Using the existing right of way would significantly reduce the capital cost of implementation /2
