And no, this has NO impact on your credit score. It's a complete win-win situation.
It was a super painful for me to the freeze across all 3 credit bureaus. Probably 2h per bureau while also trying to get ahold of a person over the phone, since every automated system, including the website refused "for security purposes". Of course it's worth doing, I wish it were simple.
