Former WhatsApp security chief just dropped a lawsuit against Meta 💣 Claims 1,500 engineers had unrestricted access to user data with no audit trail, and that he got fired for trying to fix it. Meta says he's just a disgruntled ex-employee with "poor performance."

Attaullah Baig says he found major security gaps after joining in 2021: No proper 24/7 security center, no monitoring of data access, no comprehensive inventory of where user data is stored. He reported this to Zuckerberg twice. Got fired 3 days after filing with SEC.
