As I have already written, it is an amazing piece of work and I am the one to thank. No, IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) is not a player directly. It is a variant of Web3 technology that can be handled by a player called RPlayer. The IPFS network is mostly used to store NFTs because it is censorship-resistant. RPlayer uses this network to distribute quality music for free and without the need for any intermediaries. The advantage of storing works in this way is the chance of survival in the Internet environment, and at the same time, under certain conditions, it can provide free data throughput that surpasses traditional HTTP. Simply put, the speed of a player created in this way directly corresponds to its popularity. The more popular it is, the faster it loads. Otherwise, it may load very slowly, but IPFS serves as an archive where the data will always be exactly as it should be.
