Some #bonsai in training (I'm in training, not the trees). Young Japanese maples transplanted from seedlings spring 2025. Young big leaf maples (I thought they were vine maples, I was wrong) also transplanted 2025. The big leaf maples are purely experimental at this point. Open to advice!

The big leaf maples are basically just material for me to play with branching, pruning etc. I don't expect them to be good bonsai. As you can see I already chopped some!
