30. Outlanders (1986) An even raunchier Urusei Yatsura, basically. This one managed to charm me. The character designs are cute and the animation is not bad. Alien beauty comes to earth, slays many, falls for a photographer who's got more horny energy than sense. Shenanigans ensue.

31. The Weathering Continent (1992) Based on a series of novels, this is a slow, considered mood piece. Set in a dying world, with characters whose only motivation is survival with a modicum of dignity and who end up tangled in an ancient curse. I ended up liking this way more than I expected.
