A cat-and-mouse game between him and the gangster whose girlfriend he's sleeping with. A riveting series of deliberately crafted suspense sequences and an excellent train heist let down only by the clumsy miniature work.

34. Amon Saga (1986) I wanted to like this more than I did. Some fascinating world-building details and an aesthetic reminiscent of classic sword and sorcery tales, but never really gets exciting or engaging. Unfortunately Yoshitaka Amano's character designs don't translate well here.
