Good article. It's the generational unfairness that concerns me most. There will be no state pension at all for our children if older people don't take on more of the burden, never mind the triple lock.

Interesting piece. Not sure I agree on the "we need more business people in politics" thing though. The Coalition govt made a big deal of its business experience and they implemented a hugely damaging programme of austerity which caused basically all of the problems you've identified here.
