they've started holding toy faires in my house (read: apartment in a mall) and whenever this happens i can't like. go outside without my blood boiling. it's always like 2 children, and then everyone else is in their 30s or older looking for a deal. like seriously i went looking for Bionicle once, got bumped into/shoved out of the way like 4 times. had an older lady give me the nastiest look when i asked about buying something from her. everyone is always so nasty like???? we're at a toy faire man 😭 toys. for playing and fun the only friendly face was a younger girl selling DSis because she was actually passionate about the hardware. anyway I feel like this is the target demographic for most toys these days. every new transformer is a super limited special edition release with a better ROI than the dow jones
