I wanted it medium, medium well fine, but not less than medium. I ordered "à point... bien cuit, entre le deux, mais pas saignant". And I think I got something between bleu et saignant.

In France always order à point. It tells the chef to cook it right. I like medium rare though. Bien cuit tells them you don’t like yourself or the cow. They bring ketchup.
