TF's New OC, Lunia! Been a while since I've made a character sheet~ Lunia, an entity that crash landed, pushing Mania out of her body when she was young and accidentally possessed it instead. Unaging, she tends the family's inn for generations, living a better life for Mania as forgiveness. Despite looking young, Lunia is very patient, wise and accommodating. Willing to listen and help anyone who approaches her, but is not afraid to kick out troublesome patrons. However, due to her unaging nature, she learnt to distance herself from others and refrained from opening up her problems as she sees death on a regular basis. While she tries to live a "fulfilling" life FOR Mania, she did not know that her actions actually caused Mania to be jealous and be more angry as Lunia is unable to perceive Mania, who is a lingering soul. I wanted her to look similar, yet distinctively opposite of Mania, while also having a strong moon motif with far east asian design. In contrast to Mania, Lunia's design is more complicated and vibrant, with patterns, colors and layers of clothing. Part of the challenge for the design was the colors, mostly the top. . and most of all, balancing the complexity of the pattern as I did not want it to be hard or daunting to draw. The idea of the sleeves pattern appearing when connected was one of the ways I thought of to reduce complexity I hope people love her design as much (or more!) as I do and that this sheet expressed enough of her to give you an idea of who she is
Mania the half ghost, looking beyond through her transparent hands, contemplating on her life, "It's better this way. . . Look at all those smiles. . ." Seeing her body, possessed by another, living a more fulfilling life, spreading joy and being more competent then she'd ever was. Defeated, accepting, with a bit of jealousy and envy. Maybe if she did try a little harder, that would've been her too. But it's much too late now
