I played this on a NES emulator many years ago. It's very hard, and the difficulty is random. Enemies can approach from any direction at any time, often too fast and too close to the edge of the screen to be countered. After a lot of save scumming, I got trapped in and endless, glitched-out stage.

Now the weird thing is, I remember playing this in Radio Shack in the 80s. Was there a Tandy release? I mean, it could just be bad memory.
