Snippet from a Life in Books Blog. It reads: If you could recommend one book that everyone should read,what would it be and why? Absolutely anything by Sir Terry Pratchett (GNU, Terry Pratchett). However, if you pinned me down with the threat of an angry orangutan librarian if I didn't answer, I'd have to choose Night Watch by him above all others. It's just great fiction with a powerful message which all who serve should read. What is the difference between what is right and justice? Who should police those in power? Is there ever a right time to bend your morale code for the greater good? All of this is covered and more, whilst packaged in a great piece of crime fiction, all doused in the exceptionally quick and humorous writing of the late great author. There are very few authors as great as Sir Terry Pratchett was, and we are all blessed that he got towrite so much before he left us.
Picked this box up, with the original Hero Quest at a carboot in the 90s. Played soooo much of this from the age of 11 to 14.
