I’m Some kind of Creature , I’m not sure what kind - I am new too posting art online, but I love comments and feedback, I do want too add a TriggerWarning🛑 as many themes in my works are intense I am more than open too art trades and just talkin’

A drawing of a disheveled middle-aged werewolf , one of my first drawings after several years of refusal ! It reads ‘ I was a teenage werewolf now i work a 9-5’ For a long time I hadn’t drawn since I was a teenager , my line work and most importantly perspective has gotten so much better
This is a monster depicting how fibromyalgia + hEDS feels on the body , I was in severe pain when I drew this and it is a very hard image too follow, and I ironically made it months before I got diagnosed I’m very proud of this piece because I learned a lot from finishing it , some parts I love and some I used too hate but I see how I was just learning throughout the piece and learning how too deal with the pain ! Their are different body parts and limbs sprawling out of TV screens (under the eye to the right side of the mouth ) Chronic pain is always present and it takes up a lot of space in the mind blocking out the pain / managing the ever present pain , that is what the tv screens with body parts represent The inflammation of my gums is a terrible feeling which is why the monster is intuitively covered in teeth The monsters tongue is cut off with teeth growing out as well , the inflammation and TMJ make it hard too talk Now being diagnosed seeing the nerves ever connecting and how the wrap in the bones looks like how the tissue feels with hEDS , im always squatting in uncomfortable positions just trying too live daily life / do daily tasks Chronic illnesses can be so scary and many people refuse too believe invisible illnesses are ‘ that bad ‘ the fibromyalgia monster is a way too show people that just because ‘ I look fine ‘ im not , and this creature is scary and jarring and my illnesses make people uncomfortable , But life is uncomfortable and so is community and it’s hard too always treat people with kindness and respect , I’ll never know what creature is in someone’s heart mind or body but the best I can do is simply , do the best I can with my monster, and be kind too other beasts I am currently with out care and am house bound I am so fatigued and sore , I created this account too share my art and see other artists work too keep my mind busy and too meet like minded creatives ❤️
