Essentially the cannabis plant creates only the acidic forms including cbga, cbgva, thca, cbda, etc. The popular (and not popular) non acidic cannabinoids like THC and CBD arise from their parent acidic forms. It takes time, heat, sunlight, and oxygen as catalysts to convert the acidic cannabinoids to the non acidic or neutral cannabinoids.
