Sometimes you gotta make stuff like this, it helps relieve stress a little bit. Even though it comes from a place of hurt that I feel for the whole world, I think it also looks cool. I also intend for this art to be for anyone and also it can mean a lot of things.

So this was a pretty different experience for me, but hella worth it. First off this idea came to me as a searing vison into my brain while I was trying to go to sleep on the day I finished Chapter 5. Probably the most vivid vison of an art idea I've ever had. After you do the battle with Pink you can take a break with Pink at the cafe and there's some dialogue where she says "NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BLOW UP MY BODY EXCEPT ME!!!" and that made me have a brain boner, so I knew what had to do... which was make the most insane art I've ever made (again). First step was using a blender recreation of my idea as a basis for the art as seen here: https://file.garden/Zm3cNke3DlTMr-Ta/Art%20Stuff/Mew%20Mew%20Puffy%20Cutie%20Ref%20Cropped.png This step... helped so god damn much, it's insane. I will be doing it more. It really helped because it's quite difficult to take the angles, scale, and placement of things in my head and translate them to a drawing. Something I've realized is that an aspect of getting better at art is about finding out your weaknesses as an artist and thinking about how to use the tools that are given to you to circumvent those weaknesses or work with your weaknesses. Seems like an obvious thing, it's also 100% been said before but idk... actually realizing makes it seem like it's never been thought of before, if that makes any sense.

Whacky Text: Damn this maid service SLAPS! Art Process and Bonus Crap: Started this on May 23rd. Was halfway done with the shading on this, got bored of making the art and then took that break I mentioned in that one post. I was gonna add a dialogue option box type thing but I forgot to take a screenshot of it from the game, and now I've beaten the game and uninstalled it and I don't feel like installing it again. I also didn't feel like doing a drawn version of the Yongen-Jaya Backstreets portion of the background, so I just did my classic take a screenshot from the game thing I do.
Whacky Text: Who needs actually play the level when you can just use your companion as a makeshift balloon! Art Process and Bonus Crap: I've wanted to do some lineless art, the idea has been bouncing around in my brain for a while now. Got reminded of the idea recently after looking at some art I was making but with just the shading and colour layers and was like "Huh... this looks pretty good even without lines". So, I thought doing this idea for a character from a game where the whole art style is clay would make sense, since clay doesn't have defined lines, just shapes and colours that define where things stop and end. It's also been a hot minute since I did a Nintendo character that was just a cute, squishy, little goober but really beeg. Another thought I had was when I was looking at that Astolfo art from a bit ago and was like "Damn that shading on the belly looks clean... It also sort of looks like when clay is sculpted in a certain way" Maybe I'll try doing some clay sculpting to add to my collection of art mediums and styles on this account... (I got a really good idea while writing this for a different character...)
Whacky Text: I wanna eat coins... Art Process and Bonus Crap: Gift art is just my excuse to experiment with my art. Wanted to do another piece of art where I just finish it in one sitting, not as good as the other one I made in one sitting but good enough for me to not care if it kinda sucks. Not the greatest day today either so that's not helping my art abilities. At least there's a Nintendo Direct tomorrow... where I can be shown a bunch of stuff I can't afford... *sigh*

Art Process and Bonus Crap: This is how I spent my first moments in this game, in a hole in the ground, drawing fetish art... it's a 10/10 game, nothing more needs to be said really The game is Lucid Blocks btw. My friend got me the game on Steam for my birthday and I only just played it yesterday, Persona 5 has all of my attention which is why I only just got around to playing it now. I really should do this more in games that have a drawing feature or anything that I 'can' draw on in real life. Like that one time I posted that drawing that I did on my couch using the way the fabric changes from light to dark depending on which way you move your finger across it. (It's on my Twitter, but it's nothing impressive)

Whacky Text: "I'm extra large, big ticket premium" Art Process and Bonus Crap: When I was making this, I got to the lines for Yukari and Mitsuru and then had the idea for the other bigger thing I was working on, and put this on the back burner while I worked on that. And am I glad a did that because I think this would have turned out bad if I didn't gain the experience from working on the other art first. But thankfully it turned out better than I could've hoped for. An amazing game deserves art that has soul put into it. Another thing about when I was doing the lines for Yukari and Mitsuru is that I hadn't gotten the character's key art to use as visual reference yet and once I put the images into Krita, I realized that I had accidentally did them in their key art poses before even seeing the key art... kinda.
Whacky Text You'd never see that title coming... *cough* Art Process and Bonus Crap My photo morphing skills finally got used for something, yay! (Even if it just a blue nose & full blue edit, but they're simple fun so who cares) I also was gonna do the whole background as a drawn version of the courtyard but I got bored and frustrated doing that so I just used the part of the drawn background I was happy with and just covered up the rest with the star background. It looks cooler like this anyway. I'm really proud of how the first drawing of Makoto turned out.
Whacky Text: The ol' inflation via a laced cigarette. (Saying this like it's an already well established concept) My thoughts on this character: The design for this character satisfies and itches my brain in all the right ways. The colours, the expression, the outfit and the layers to the outfit, those big round glasses... god... I want her to do things to me... Art Process and Bonus Crap: I did art for Miri before but I just tried emulating their artstyle in that one, here I just kinda... did whatever I do. I haven't finished this much art this quickly before (I think). A six part sequence followed up with art featuring three characters with a drawn background (both which I have yet to post) and now this which I did in one sitting. I feel like I could even still do more today... if I weren't tired >:[ I did see something else yesterday that tickled my fancy so maybe tomorrow I'll do it...

Art Process and Bonus Crap: Damn it's been 10 days... Anyway, felt inspired after playing Pokopia one day and was like "I haven't done a single Pokémon thing, let alone any of the Pokémon everyone wants to get freaky with" So I came up with this idea for a Gardevoir that became infatuated with gum after sharing a special moment with someone while chewing on a piece of gum. She is very eccentric and get's into 'peculiar situations' a lot. I also made this shut-in scientist guy that is the total opposite to her, doesn't like confrontation, very private except in his own home or around people he's comfortable with. He may or may not be the "someone" I mentioned earlier. Pokopia also made me wanna play a regular Pokémon game.

It also makes my life 10x easier. Using random block textures to make the air pump was fun. I also came up with a signature that'll start using now on my art. I made a signature a while ago, used it once, thought it looked dumb and never used it again.

I don't own Splatoon 2 I only have 3". But then I realized I had the DLC, and that has the Splatoon 2 hub area and then I popped off. It was awesome. I've been wanting to draw Marie since I started art. Whacky Text: TheBapSwitches say something funny. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Art Process and Bonus Crap: Everybody started talking about Rayman stuff stuff last night and then when I woke yesterday I was gonna get the demo for Rayman Origins to get the background for this, but I noticed the game was on sale for $5.99(CAD) so I just bought it instead. To do the text box I had to remake it myself and find the font used in the game. Even though it can sound like I hate doing it; the challenge of making certain things myself or trying to find something is sometimes my favorite part of doing this art. I also find it interesting because I get to see lots of new things I didn't know about or get reminded of cool things I forgot. There's so many things I would've never experienced if not for doing art.
Whacky Text: Maybe it's just my imagination... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Art Process and Bonus Crap: Hehehehehehe heh... yeah I reused the background from the Modeus image, I did have to draw a little more but it wasn't too bad. I actually drew the outline for this first and then got sidetracked doing the idea for the Valentines Day image with Modeus. The main idea before was I was gonna draw all the women inflated in different ways. I might still do that idea, but who knows.
Whacky Text: I think it was worth it, it was delicious. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Art Process and Bonus Crap: I wanted to do something with both Panty and Stocking, so I decided to combine that with an idea I had a while ago of a kimono that looks like the 71' outfit. Mix that with some contextual text and boom, I got myself something decent.

Such as making Rana swell up in a sexuality explicit way with really high quality inflating and burping SFX... good feature, I guess? I spent over an hour trying to get a version of Indev where Rana was still in the game working just for the background. Yes I will remind you of my dedication to getting a specific thing for my art every time.
It is true, I can draw more than just circles sometimes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Did this quickly because I feel blegh today, so it's kind of sloppy.
Guys... never use an area of a game that has a fence in it as a background, having to accommodate the fence while doing the lines, colour and shading was a headache. If it weren't for the fence and me getting bored while doing the fence stuff and than getting distracted, I could had this done quicker.
The Zoologist art made me realize how fun doing the onomatopoeias are. I've done them before but it felt stupid before, it feels way better to do now in the new art program. (Stabilizer hotkey my beloved) But, one of the things I like doing is combining the text with the motion lines it looks neat. If you're wondering what art program I'm using now, it's Krita. Using a browser thing for all of my art before 2026 that had a lot weird bugs and quirks, really makes you appreciate a standalone art program that just works and feels good.
Terraria is the ultimate productivity killer. Went into the game to get the background for this and ended up playing Terraria instead.

I say "knew" because I was gonna upload this yesterday but I ended up watching the show ('Legally') and finished it just before posting this. My review: It was pretty good. I also found a new art program that I like, so that was fun using that for these drawings. It felt fun again :]
This was a request but I kind of did more than the person was probably expecting. I made the background myself including the textures because I thought just searching up "Trial grounds model" and downloading it was too lazy. The textures of which are just edited images I found on google. (Yes I did make sure they weren't ai images by searching between 2000 - 2020, I always do that) However I'm still lazy... so you BET your ass I just used the sprites from the game for the other characters (I find it charming anyway so who cares)
Someone requested for me to do another Mario Paint thing but of Zero Suit Samus. Used a USB mouse this time though, didn't feel like having hand pains again.
