Kyle Tharp is an independent writer, researcher, and consultant whose expertise lies at the intersection of the internet and politics. He is the author of Chaotic Era, a weekly newsletter that tracks trends in politics, media, and online influence, which is frequently cited by dozens of national and international publications from The New York Times to CNN. Before going independent, he built the national division at progressive media company COURIER, led communications for an anti-Trump super PAC in 2020, and was in charge of marketing for political software company NGP VAN. Earlier in his career, he held various roles in the immigrant advocacy space.
