My hot take: You don't need the number 1 software/setup to be a good creator.
Without a doubt my hot take is that no content creator needs a discord with a lot of channels, you can simple go for a simple layout or a website. I understand the appeal for the service, but lets be real how many servers are you in and how many do you have muted?
My hot take: you can't just 'play what you like and your community will find you lol.' If you're not at least making some sort of attempt to play games that are popular or at least fun to watch, you're going to struggle to find an audience.
