The kids are with Nana (because everybody can trust Nana) and the adults are taking a night to themselves to live it up and party at Stripe and Trixie's pool. Most have had them a drink or two (or more), some have decided to pass (Brandy's on the fence and Wendy and Janelle don't plan on having much, if any at all.) Either way, a long, fun, relaxing night away from adulthood is planned.
You don't realize how lonely you feel at night until you've gotten yourself a significant other. Not even a cozy lava lamp or the light of the moon can give you the comfort a partner can. You long for the day you'll be able to see them again, only for that day to come to a close as quickly as it came, and the cycle repeats. This is the cycle of love. It is a vicious, yet rewarding one.
Lila's day, to say the least, had been rough. Bingo was out sick today, and Lila had to spend the day at Kindy by herself, with no one else to play with or talk to. It didn't get any better when Felix started teasing her. Lila hadn't felt so alone in a while. Thankfully, though she couldn't talk with Bingo, she had another best friend back at home she could talk to if things were bleak. He was always a great listener and he seemed to understand Lila very well. The simple phrase he'd always say to her for reassurance, while not seemingly much, was very helpful for Lila; "Tomorrow is another day."

Someone's 8th birthday party was just held at a very special place! What a long, fun day!
