Ever since my mom passed in 2018, it’s been a constant battle, fighting for myself, my family, and the few friends I’ve managed to keep, while trying to build something new. I know I smile a lot, I joke a lot, and I do everything I can to make those around me happy. But behind that smile, there’s usually a tangled, hurting version of me struggling far more than you might realize.

That struggle isn’t always just my own. When I see people I care about vanish, or face nightmares like mine or worse, I can’t help but scream at myself to do better, to give more. It always seems to come down to money, something I never have enough of, no matter how hard I try. But still, I’ll keep trying. I’ll keep giving whatever I can.

So if you’re someone who needs a hug, who’s fighting their own storms, listening to the rain and wondering if anyone sees you, just know I’m here, and I’ve got you. We’ll get through this, together.
