November 12, 2024 at 11:12 PM After Tuesday I am restless. My heart beats Faster now, hotter. I walk more Most days to lose the excess. I bare My teeth to the sky, sharp and feral, Catching nothing. My fingers flex and clench The grips of knives I put away Long ago. I’d disarmed myself For my girl. Visceral fear comes often Unexpectedly. I am mad. I am less Good. I am wrathful. My hands draw blood. My mouth savages heaven. I burn. Blast furnace exhalations From my heart and lungs keep me Wide awake. I hate Again. Going through this Evil fucking nonsense Again, I can’t rise. I’ll go through. Furiously.
