While that day was an outlier, documents obtained through a freedom of information request reveal the facility consistently burned 15 times more gas per day than expected.

Are they burning it off just because their equipment isn't working properly, or are they doing that just because they want to keep their supply and demand equilibrium the way cattle farmers do with milk? Both answers fucking suck.
Enough to heat 6,500 Canadian homes for a year. (average home use in Canada is 2200 cu.m per year. milage will vary by location)
