The war with Iran is making oil prices fluctuate wildly. What does this all mean for Alberta, a province whose budget sinks or swims on the price of a barrel? What does it mean for Canada as a whole? Could this fresh chaos cause countries to re-evaluate their dependence on oil?

The Global North are screwed more the the Global South because the Global South don't need as oil as much as the Global North does. The Global South are having an easier time of going green because they're allied with BRICS & the Belt & Road Initiative 馃槅

Anyone who believes high oil prices mean more money for the average person is very naive. Despite all the wealth hauled in by O & G in Alberta, wages in that sector have been mostly stagnant. This current price rise per barrel won't change that.

No Profit from oil is more important. The gulf war, Iraq, 9-11...nothing changed.
