The Norse Code A saga of pure Norse mirthology. All drawings created using Affinity software.

Black and white cartoon. A Viking (Erik) is saying "Who's a good boy?" to his pet dragon (Snuti) who has retrieved a newspaper for his master. In the next panel we see Erik opening up the pages and see a large hole burnt in the middle of the newspaper. Erik's shocked face is seen through the hole.
Black and white cartoon. A Viking longboat is precariously perched at the top of a sheer waterfall. Conifers line the sides of the river near the top of the falls. The walls of the falls are rocky. Water spray bubbles at the bottom of the falls. A voice from the longboat says "Okay, own up. Who didn't update the Sat-Nav"
Black and white cartoon set in an old kitchen with an iron pot on the fireplace. A Viking walks in, obviously worse for wear. Broken helmet, scuffs all over, broken sword, a lost boot/bare foot and a hunched over, tired stance. His wife is mixing some food at a large wooden table. A beer is on the table awaiting his return. She says bluntly to her husband "Bad day at the office dear?"

The police officer asks the Viking "Do you realise what speed you were sailing at?" The Viking just shrugs his shoulders. Panel 2; The viking (looking very smug with his quip) replies to the police officer "In my defence, I was in a fast Fjord" The police officer dips his head and lets out a sigh.

A Viking longboat is sailing down a narrow section of a Fjord. There are steep, tree-topped banks at each side of the Fjord. Ahead of the longboat, a giant three-headed sea leviathan emerges from the depths. All eyes are affixed to the longboat it towers above. A voice from the longboat asks: "Do you think he'll let us past?"

He approaches the Blacksmith and asks "Is it covered under warranty?" The Blacksmith just stands there facepalming.

"Watch out for the local wildlife stealing your food Erik!" To which the other Viking replies... "Ha! I'm not worried about a few seagulls Sven" In the background a small fish can be seen popping his head out of the water. In the water, behind the two Vikings, ripples are forming. Panel 2: As the other Viking (Sven) is walking away, he then replies back.. "I wasn't talking about the birds!" The small fish has now dived and swam away. Where the ripples were is now a large dragon headed sea serpent. Erik has a shocked look on his face.

Panel 1; Our intrepid warriors are continuing their voyage out of the Fjord. A voice asks "Did anyone pack lunch?" A reply from one of the crew "Let's get a to-go" Panel 2; Our crew have stopped and are at a food kiosk called "The Turnip Pit". A woman who runs the kiosk is standing there with crossed arms and a sour look on her face. Next to her is a large pot of boiling turnips. At the far side of the counter is a basket of raw turnips. One member of the crew asks "What have you got?" "Boiled 'Nip, Mashed 'Nip, Chipped 'Nip, Fried 'Nip, Roast 'Nip, Deep Fried 'Nip" is the reply. At the back of the queue, a voice says "I don't like turnip"
In the first panel, a Viking longboat is sailing along a peaceful Fjord, heading out to open waters... A voice from the boat states "We're off to England!" To which the response is "YEAAAH!!!" In the second panel, at the top it is labelled "Tweny minutes later..." The boat has travelled further along the Fjord when a voice from the boat asks... "Are we there yet?"
A Viking longboat with a learner's "L" plate is sailing in a Fjord. It suddenly veers to the left, heading perilously close to jagged rocks jutting out of the water. A voice from the boat shouts "STARBOARD! - STARBOARD IS TO THE RIGHT!"
We're outside Erik's little house. Sven is out the front, talking to Erik's wife and his son (Bjorn). Sven asks "Good morning Mrs. Ulfsson. Is Erik home?" Mrs. Ulfsson replies "Help Sven, he's just walking Snuti." In the sky above the house and in the distance we can see a silhouette of a chubby dragon flying. Attached to the dragon's neck is a rope. Holding on to this rope is Erik. Flying along, legs flailing.
There are two Vikings standing next to and facing each other. The Viking on the left is holding a sword in his left hand and a shield in his right He has numerous arrows stuck in his helmet and in his shield. The Viking on the left asks: "So Leif, how was the new world?"
A Viking is looking at a large, long box, sighing at the sight before him. On the box is a label stating the manufacturer "VIKEA". Printed on the side of the box are the words "FLATPACK LONGBOAT"
Two Vikings are standing with their backs towards us on the shore of a Fjord. They're watching a Viking funeral pyre onboard a longboat. The Viking on the left says "You're crying. I thought you didn't like him?" To which the second Viking replies "I didn't. But I've still got 9 payments left on that boat."
