Realised I can display live posts on the map bluesky-map.theo.io?live=1 (there's also an option under the settings cog to display post text, in case you really want to be overstimulated)

What would be extremely awesome to have is an ability to select some area (maybe click to select a cluster, or radius, or just rectangular selection) and get a feed of that place, i.e. posts from accounts in the selection, latest or "best".

Very coool!

Ivan “CLOVIS” Canet · Feb 26

I'm curious, how are people positioned? Is it mainly based on follows?

project of the year

Duuddde! That looks so awesome

This feels like a 90s hacker VR movie

Niklas Jordan · Feb 26

Wow... that's super cool!

David Porter · Feb 25

That looks fantastic. Went to look for myself and found I was on the edge of the known Bluesky universe. Just how I like it.

Brad Wenner · Feb 26

so cool!

this is the first I've heard of this site, and it's not only really cool, but also intuitive and well-designed. and when I looked up one account and then wished I could import my follows rather than type one handle after the other, lo and behold, there's a button!

Anthony Wilson · Feb 25

Is there a reason some handles (like mine!) aren't there?

JP · Feb 26

This would be an absolutely epic screensaver 😄

alex ♡ · Feb 26

this would be so good for monitoring situations

eternalist · Feb 26

would be neat to add some sort of (ultra fast, cheap n-gram tier) sentiment analysis and vary the ping graphics based on that

Saraghargh · Feb 26

Omg what if each ping made a tone based on frequency of posts or something. The whole map could sing!

Saraghargh · Feb 25

Beautiful!

patak · Feb 26

love this! do you think one day you could offer a way to see how the clusters evolved over time? If you do weekly snapshots for example
