Once the Pine Territory faced its defeat, a mapmaker hastily fixes the map he has been working on, crossing out Pine Territory with black ink. The map hints at the Willow Territory's victory against another Territory with an obscured name, as well as lays out the neighboring kingdoms. A citizen excitedly asks the paperboy for a copy of the paper announcing the result of the battle. He is a shop owner, seen sitting in front of the shop next to a fruit stand, excitedly reading the announcement. He praises Liu Dashuai, the human warlord and ruler of the Willow Territory, for his skills in battle, feeling proud of his victory against the Pine Territory, ruled by a Godling. His wife, on the other hand, seems less than enthused. She is irritated by Liu Dashuai's negligence on the safety of his people, and his greed in power and land. She believes this victory will bring them nothing but trouble. A small, black blob is seen in the corner, using a wooden stick to grab an apple while the husband and wife gossip. They don't seem aware of its presence.
