The spice wasn’t mined on Tatooine, it wasn’t processed on Tatooine, and it wasn’t refined on Tatooine. Other than to have a “Lawrence of Arabia” sequence, what was the purpose of transporting the spice overland?
That was such a fun episode, it was great to see Tuskens in action.
