Andy Waddington @thewaddingtons.com · May 26 IF the ball at this moment is not touching either glove, but is touching the boot then it would be a legitimate tackle. IF the ball is touching any part of either glove it is a foul. IF the referee got that call wrong then it cannot be described as a "clear and obvious error" that would go to VAR.

This clip is after he first makes contact. A classic still to prove a false truth. He’s not touching it when he kicks it first. The ball then travels through his hands as shown here.
