Yea, I could write a whole other big thing on the books use of loot boxes and game mechanic stuff as like little dopamine hits and how it's kinda gross to me too. One of those things where it's just doing the thing it's attempting to satirize/comment on. (I imagine you'd despise the book too, lol)
