I just can't think of a reason why a cis person could be upset at the implication they could be trans unless they have a resentment against the idea of being trans. If they're confident in their identity then that really shouldn't matter. It's like how telling someone "hey I think you might enjoy wearing blue shoes" wouldn't be hateful or invasive because wearing blue shoes isn't a bad thing. Even if that person knows they wouldn't like wearing blue shoes. Or if that person has tried wearing blue shoes and ended up not enjoying it. And with the fact that there's such an overwhelming societal pressure keeping people cis, I truly think the 1 in 1000 "hey what if this cis dude comes out as transfem later" is such a non-issue in the grand scheme of things"
