Optional: Spotlight Tracker Tool If your group prefers a more traditional action economy, you can use tokens to track how many times a player has had the spotlight: At the start of a session or scene, each player adds a certain number of tokens (we recommend 3) to their character sheet and removes a token each time they take an action. If the spotlight would swing to someone without any tokens, it swings to someone else instead. Once every player has used all their available tokens, players refill their character sheet with the same number of tokens as before, then continue playing.

Battle Royale The conclusion of the island. The Battle Royale is always a Deathmatch contest, but a second die from the bonus Capability can be included for free (or you may include a die from another Capability by paying Fatigue as normal—but the limit is always one extra Capability, whether it’s a free bonus or not). Resolve the Battle Royale using the normal contest procedure. The final outcome of Phase Two is then judged by considering the result of the Seize contest and the Battle Royale contest together. → The Competitor Players lose the Battle Royale: The worst possible outcome. Decide as a group what happens next. It may mean that the season is over and you must start again with a new batch of competitors. Or perhaps half the competitors survive to make it through (whoever did least- bad), and the others die (create new competitors). → The Competitor Players win the Battle Royale, but lose the Seize contest: The player competitors survive, but the Production Player has final say on which non-player competitors die and which progress to the next island. → The Competitor Players win the Battle Royale and win the Seize contest: The player competitors win the day, and the fates of NPCs that were determined in the Seize come to pass. Rules text from Dolmenwood: Camaraderie Time spent around the fireside with one’s companions may lift the spirits and induce restful sleep. A character may attempt to entertain with music, song, stirring tales, jokes, and so forth. The entertainer should make a Charisma Check. If the check succeeds: All characters gain a +1 bonus to any Constitution Checks required to rest (see Sleep). If the check fails: The attempt to entertain falls flat. On a natural 1, the entertainer must Save Versus Doom or incur ridicule and discord, incurring a –1 penalty to any Constitution Checks required to rest (see Sleep).

Blish is a gaseous moon of airborne oceans. Creatures of all types and sizes swim through its atmosphere. Humanity is a late comer to this moon, only recently building towns on the backs of whales and cities on giant turtles. Far from the Leo Suzerainty and the Imperial Empest, Blish has become home to those who wish to avoid their notice. Aerial sailors and fishback merchants ply the cloudy waves of Blish, always on the look out for a big catch. Deep air divers search the dense underatmo, facing down ancient ghosts to recover artifacts said to be from Realis-Itself. Every whaleship that docks is a cause for celebration, as is every birthday, Feast Day and sometimes just a sunny day. Orphan Vessel’s struggle to land on Blish. Only the largest cities can support their weight. Finding a turtle to land on takes time and is never guaranteed. Travel across Blish is limited to the local options. Fishships are slow but travel a regular schedule. For the rushed or daring an avian pilot will fly you where you need to go. Some are drawn to Blish for its isolation. Others come for the bits and pieces from Realis-Itself that surface from the underatmo. Regardless, all are welcome as long as they abide by the customs: Respect the animals we live on, always drink when a toast is raised and always close the shutters tight when the ghosts from below are walking.
