Yuri Ivanov was a Soviet propagandist who, in 1969, published Caution: Zionism!—a canonical text of the USSR’s pseudo-science called “Zionology.” From it came nearly every modern antizionist trope: “Zionists are Nazis,” the colonizer libel, the apartheid libel, the genocide libel. Let them know they have no idea what they are spouting and that there is no reason to respond to antizionist libels.
Antizionism as Secular Religion: How the West Baptized the Elimination of Israel MENA ANTIZIONISM (1940s-1970s) was raw, militaristic, openly chauvinistic — an explicit war of anninilation fueled by Arab nationalist fervor. SOVIET ANTIZIONISM (1910s-1990s) was cold, doctrinal, and bureaucratic — an ideological script enforced through state propaganda and the machinery of the secret police. WESTERN ANTIZIONISM (1960s—present) is the most insidious and totalizing form yet. It functions as a kind of secularized, bastardized Christianity: the West projects its own historical sins — whiteness, racism, colonialism — onto Israel, then demands its destruction as a path to collective redemption. ANTIZIONISM CREATES THE ILLUSION OF COMPASSION for Palestinians by making their suffering hyper-visible. Yet its true aim is not to improve their lives. Instead, it liturgically consumes, performs, and weaponizes their suffering to attack Israel — trapping Palestinians in perpetual victimhood and endless contlict. ANTIZIONIST IDEOLOGY CLAIMS OTHER VICTIMS: Iranians, Lebanese, and Yemenis — entire populations whose rulers divert vast resources toward the elimination of Israel rather than building prosperous, functional societies. The result is poverty, oppression, and ruin. ANTIZIONISM DESTROYS EVERYTHING IT TOUCHES. Defeating it is a moral imperative. Only by dismantling this eliminationist ideology can the Middle East find genuine peace — and Jews worldwide live in safety and dignity.
