An astonishingly assured debut from a seasoned indie rock operator. billyclyde has been making music since the end of the Clinton administration but it’s simply kismet which has unloosed this collection of pop confectionary on the world. For billyclyde, the Beatles reign eternal in heaven but these songs are also artfully leavened with the love of the golden age of independent rock and pop. Harmonies glisten alongside the jangle and buzz of electric guitars. The lyrical content, obviously, finds itself consumed with the effects of globalized exploitative Capitalism and the impending collapse of civilization.

can’t fit it all here but essentially i compare lolcows to Aztec human sacrifice since the productive energy of the internet is spectacularly used up on lolcows like ChrisChan to produce the same sacredness as ripping out someone’s heart for Huitzilopochtli. I then criticize the way that people thirst for a new ChrisChan since she’s less online now but it fails because there’s not as much of a direct back and forth that builds up the sacred energy.

Infiltration is made more difficult by the communal nature of the lifestyle (under constant observation and scrutiny) and the extensive knowledge held by many anarchists, which require a considerable amount of study and time to acquire. Other strategies for infiltration have been explored, but so far have not been successful. Discussion of these theories in an open paper is not advisable.
