I usually write about workforce systems and labor market inequities. This is the same analysis — just federal agents instead of employers. When institutions protect themselves at the expense of accountability, working people die. That's the through-line.

Here's how deep it goes: FBI initially agreed to joint investigation w/ Minnesota BCA. Hours later: reversed course, cut out completely. Now they have Good's car, shell casings, all witness statements. Won't share w/ state prosecutors. Even Derek Chauvin's defense attorney called it "shocking."
The removed policies are VERY specific about when deadly force is authorized. Spoiler: Not for fleeing suspects. Not for vehicles that can be avoided. Not w/o de-escalation attempts. The policies contradict everything DHS Secretary Noem said to justify the shooting. That's why they disappeared.
