TimStats @tim-stats.com · Nov 8 Splitter: Hoffman's splitter has more horizontal movement on than normal, almost a split-change esque movement profile at 90.5 MPH, 4.5 IVB and 15.6 HB. The Stuff grade does not do this pitch justice, its absolutely nasty, generating a 28.6 Whiff% and 37.1 Chase%.

Overall I think Hoffman could do very well in a transition into a starter given his nasty arsenal and him having prior experience has a starter should help the transition.
