AAH!! p4 - a hand is dropping fish food into the tank, and FP immediately stops panicking to chow down FP: oh, hey, some fish food!
p1 - A LunkHead watches TV while clutching a beer can. On the screen, two attractive people argue TV people: I can't believe you!! After all this time - "all this time" I felt like I was drowning a- LunkHead (talking over them): Ah, this show stinks. I don't like any of the characters. TVP: you've smothered my sense of- also you covered my- p2 LH: Computer! Make a raptor bust thru the wall & eat everyone! (TV people look at him in horror. 3 sweats fly off of each of them, 6 total big sweats) p3 - The TV People are begging for mercy TVP: No! Please! W-we could change genre! Do you like jokes? Should we fight?? LH (surprised): WHAT! Quit that!! why're you breakin' the 4th wall? TVP: Our IP holders force us to beg for mercy, to maximize screen time fees! p4 - The raptor has burst through a wall and is attacking the prone TV people. It is biting some fibers out of the woman while doing a kind of flintstones run on top of the man, shredding his back with its talons. LH: Anyway, no dice! Computer! confirm raptor! yes! yes raptor! TVP: YAAAA!! ow ow Owiee!! TVP: They also gave us Wolverine's(TM) Healing Factor(TM), so that it takes forever for us to die, YeaAAA!!!
p1 - A typical mad scientist waves his fists in the air. Under his lab coat, his T-shirt bears a logo of a bird with DNA. On a nearby perch, a big fancy bird makes a smug expression Mad Scientist: I'm Professor Birdmore! And I've just created a new genetic bird to stop my enemies in their tracks! p2 - A side-view of a forested road, with a large modern pickup truck barreling down it. The fancy bird is flying just ahead + above, raining an endless stream of shit into the windshield with perfect accuracy Professor Birdmore: Its speed is unmatched, even by my neighbor's shitty car!! Bird's Anus: Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Driver: Rrgh! My windshield! Stupid Bird! p3 - Top down view, the truck tries to swerve out of the stream of excrement, but the bird swerves along with it. D: Get down here! I'll run u over, bird! BA: Pu Pu Pu Pu SFX: SWERVE SFX: VROOM! p4 - Interior view, windshield is completely opaque, wipers uselessly spreading the bird shit around even as more splatter onto the streaked surface. Driver is bald + has Oakley sunglasses perched on the back of his head. Truck Computer: VISIBILITY FALLING D: Ragh! Fuck you, bird, Yahh! TC: VISIBILITY 0% p5 - The road has emerged from the forest onto a narrow strip with high cliffs on either side. The truck is skidding + spinning out, has crashed through the barrier into open air. The bird continues to rain droppings, but has switched to clarifying craps that instantly clean the windshield. Too late, the Driver regains visibility, but all he sees is his own doom. D: AAAUGH!! p6 - Professor Birdmore watches a video feed of the exploding truck PB: YES!! He died! video: BOOM!
p1 - Chappy Chappy + Beireia look at a crystal ball displaying an orc in a "Little Lord Fauntleroy" costume + holding a large lollipop. The orc has huge "cute" eyes, but something seems off about them. Chappy Chappy: Ok, I'm giving it another shot with the "sympathetic orc" plan. This one is dressed like a stereotypical kid. Even if it doesn't work, we can say "whose the real monster" over the PA. p2 - Orc Kid is licking the lolly with its awful mouth + is surprised by Generic Adventurer 1 pushing a hoop down the hallway with a stick Generic Adventurer 1: Yo orc kid, check this out! p3 - OK is pushing the hoop now OK: Wow this so fun! Me wait to later for betrayi- (critical headshot explodes his cranium) GA1 + GA2: NOOOOOO!! p4 - Two nasty looking characters emerge from the hallway, they are wearing cyber-style dark clothes. One is holding a big axe + the other has a boombox + SMG. GA2 cradles the broken body of OK. Renegade Faction 1: Oh, sorry, were you still clinging to the tepid ideal that LIFE has VALUE?? Boombox: Safe to say that I don't give a fuck! GA1: Renegade Faction! p5 - A big cartoon fight cloud erupts, with the kombatants' faces + fists etc thrusting out here + there. A sock + a fishbone are also flying out. A PA speaker fails to get their attention PA: Whose the real- Kombatant: WHY YOU! SFX: BOFF PA: Whose- Gun: BLAM SFX: BONK PA: Whosetherealmonster Kombatant: GYAA! PA: Ah, whatever.
A mother sheep stands over the body of her lamb, dead in the snow. Many footprints show where the rest of the flock mourned briefly before moving on without the mother. Dozens of crows are waiting for the mother to move on as well, as she must. More crows continue to arrive.
p1 - The Adventurer from 863, in mental crisis, makes a call outside the Quack Doctor's clinic, which is closed. Grieving Adventurer: It just kills me, over and over! I didn't get any stronger... But these feelings are tearing me apart! *SOB* Door Sign: NEUROMAX performance therapies Hastily Affixed Paper Sign: the Doctor is OUT Quack Doctor (thru phone): The fake memories are like a status ailment, should go away after you respawn. Talk to whoever is doing respawns. <CLICK> p2 - A wizened old man with a single eye, distorted face, and nonstandard body plan concealed by swirling robes presents a classic "present" box with ribbons etc. to Grieving Adventurer. Also they are in the Guru Room from Rygar (1986) Strange Old Man (weird voice): You are wise + foolish, in equal measure, to seek me out, child... haha SOM: What is needed to resolve your destiny is here... The cost is terrible, contained within itself... haha haHaha! p3 - GA charges Killersaurus with a lit bundle of dynamite in each hand, sliding under its opening tail slap attack with expert timing learned thru cruel experience. The beam turrets track GA but don't have a clear shot GA: YAAAAAAA!! Dynamite 1: TSS! Dynamite 2: TSS! p4 HUGE EXPLOSION: KA BOOM!! p5 - Gibs + smoking turrets litter the periphery of the boss room. Cracks, rubble, + scorches mark the site of the blast. Gold coins appear in midair + fall to form a pile where the two enemies died Narration: ...And as the gold coins fell, none could say which came from the beast, and which came from the guy... Coins: Tnk
p1 - A concerned-looking Adventurer is being fitted with neurostimulating headgear by an enthusiastic Quack Doctor. Adventurer: Just... no matter how I try, I just can't beat the Cretecheous Zone boss. I need something more... Quack Doctor: I've got just the thing! p2 QD: This package of implanted memories will give you the drive + intensity to overcome any obstacle! (We see a standard "dead wife montage", a happy woman frolicks on the beach, peeks under covers, etc. in thought bubbles floating in blackness. In another bubble we see her bleeding mouth say "Honey... [CRETECHEOUS ZONE BOSS] did this to me" and a grave reading "RIP dead wife". grieving Adventurer holds a statue of the woman in rest, but she is turning to dust + slipping through his fingers. The dust glitters + goes to form the thought bubbles. Over the whole scene, the gloating face of some Dino Monster (Killersaurus) laughs) Killersaurus: GRAAHA HA HAHA p3 - A rips the headgear off in a rage, his fists are clenched tight enough to draw blood. A: KILLERSAURUS!! QD: oh cool, it worked! p4 Narration: Charged up by the treatment, he- (Killersaurus effortlessly KOs A with a tail slap, not even turning around, A's mangled form bounces off the wall + is held aloft by barrages from the beam turrets on Killersaurus's back. A's weapon uselessly "ting"s on the ground Killersaurus: (farts) SFX: SLAP! GUI: Air Juggle Combo 32X!
p1 - A Generic Adventurer approaches a Pathetic Orc. GA, in his enthusiasm, is holding his sword in a weird impractical way, with the handle near his belly. Generic Adventurer: Ehehe! Another ORC for me to kill, muahaha!! Pathetic Orc: "Please No!""I mean you no harm have mercy to me!" p2 - GA is taken aback by PO's big puppy dogeyes, and hesitates. Behind him, 3 normal orcs approach with weapons ready GA: Aw! Such a pathetic plea can only come from a heart with pure sincerity! All 4 Orcs: Almost time to betraying him!! p3 - GA, ashamed at himself, shuts his eyes, and turns away from PO, and in doing so swings his sword around to chop the 3 ambushing orcs in half at the waist. PO is shocked and shoots out 3 big sweats. GA: How can I face this innocence I sought to destroy?? GA: I CAN'T! SFX: turn away! Chop Chop Chop p4 - GA's eyes are swirls and he continues spinning, accidentally chopping PO's head in half, splattering brains + eyeballs among the guts of his fellows GA: ...dizzy...
p1 - An unsettlingly Normal Man in a polo shirt looks right at the reader, hands on his hips Normal Man: I'm a nasty pervert + I want a horse to suck me off. Nasty Pervert (formerly Normal Man): I think their long face would be good for that. Off Panel Voice: ReeeHeeHee! (Horse Noise) p2 - A horse is sticking its head out of the barn stall + talking. Nasty Pervert looks pleasantly surprised Horse: Brrring that silly lil biped dick over here, Pardner! REEeHEeehe! H: I'll suck that shit clean off! Reehehe! p3 - An "Evil Horse" sign that the horse was concealing with its word bubble is now revealed. The Horse is doing the "Flehmen response" H: HpPppb! H: C'mon! H: RreHehe Get over here! Narrator: Don't do it! p4 - The Horse is waving its head up + down. NP is walking toward it with a dumb grin H: Hppppb! H: Reehrhr! N: Look! It's Evil! For sure it'll bite you! p5 - A big blood splash with toothy "Chomp" sfx and "GyAAA!" spelled out in intestines + bones N: oh well. N: he deserved to die, I guess. N: "the wages of [evil horse lust] are death", as they say...
p1 - A Nerdy Mage guy reclines on a chaise lounge on a beach. He's holding a "Magic2" book, and looking pissed Nerdy Mage: Bah! Why are we at this wretched "beach"!? I can barely read my tomes, for all the blasted glare! NM: and don't even get me started on the grimoires! p2 - A muscular Himbo Lizardman stands between NM and the sun, protracting his impressive large dewlap to increase the shade on NM and his book. Himbo Lizardman: Sun in yer eye? Relax, lil bro, I got you! Narration: This Lizardperson is "himbo" NM: Show off. But, it does help. Thank you. p3 - Farther down the beach, the 2 female party members look on. One is a Lizardwoman with a white stripe down her back, wearing a skirt + thumping her tail on the ground. She's wielding a huge tropical drink. The other looks to be a catgirl at first, but on closer inspection must be a shrew or some other less-charismatic animal. Both are wearing leis and have nosebleeds and their eyes are bugging out big time. NM: you can go play, ill get an umbrella. HL: haha! i'm cool here Fujoshi Lizardwoman (biting a cloth out of intense sexual frustration): UUUOOOAA!!! Do you see this shit?? He is trying to kill me! p1 - A village of Amazonian pixies confront the pixelated penis of a Creepy Guy. They are shooting it with arrows, casting spells etc. One pixie has been knocked down + injured somehow. CG is sweating profusely + making a nasty face. Beireia (pissed off + shooting a pixellation spell at his dick): Hey! Cover up, asshole! If we get dinged by the G-Essence & the monsters stop dropping gold, this place is done! Creepy Guy: Uheeheehe p2 CG: Gah! Don't pixel me! >eeugh!< Playing safe has made your dungeon >Oooueoo!< sterile + dull! You should THANK me for brining some >uuH!< Raw Intensity!! Pixie: the beast is concealing itself! p3 B (thinking): Hmm... Pixie: this is it! final attack! CG (big gross word bubble): U-Uooagh! All Pixies: ew gross! p4 - conference room, all executives except Chappy are there. The whiteboard has "invisible nudist" + "echolocation porn" crossed out on it. B: ..And when I thought about it, he had a point. Alex: When he said "U-Uooagh"? B: No! B: We HAVE gotten too safe! Our Succubus can't get her tits out! Our Incubus can't get his fucked up dick out! Troll (interrupting): Yeah & our Godsmack- B (also interrupting): yes thank you! p5 Lich: Those prudes only care about flesh right? Let's show skeletons of hot people B: Nonhuman sensibilities, huh? p1 - A hardened mercenary/contract-killer-type guy leans against the wall of a dungeon, fondling his combat knife. Piles of dead orcs, n body parts therefrom litter the floor. Killer: Oh hey... K: 'Fraid your orcs had a little... K: "accident" Chappy Chappy (bored + annoyed): Ok Voice from out of panel: NOT SO FAST!! p2 - There's a detective guy behind them. He has a magnifying glass but isn't looking thru it, holding it more like a microphone Detective: This was no accident!! These orcs were MURDERED! CC: Ya think? CC: I'll leave you to it, I've got- p3 - The Detective makes a "special move" pose, with a wild expression. A shimmering energy cube now surrounds everyone D: I've activated my ability: [Sealed Room Mystery]! Until the criminal is revealed, no-one gets in or out!! CC: WHAT!?! D: Even if I die! CC (even bigger letters): WHAT?!! p4 Narration: And so... (It looks like a mystery game, HUD boxes labeled "exhibit A" + "exhibit B" are there, Chappy has angrily pulled the killer's hand with combat knife into box A, and in box B holds an orc corpse bearing a wound shaped exactly like the knife, like he somehow pushed it sideways thru the chest. The Detective looks at them dismissively. Killer stoically endures the embarrassment) D: I don't see what that has to do with anything. D: Think: what was the culprit's [Motive] for killing these orcs? D: And let me reiterate that killing me won't lower the barrier!
p1 - 2 Adventurers stand back-to-back against hordes of monsters etc. pouring out of two hallways. Adventurer1: Damn, there's no end to these enemies!! A1: Every1 & their MOTHER wants 2 kill us tonite! p2 - the guys continue fighting. The severed head of a goblin flies past Adventurer2 (pumped up): Just like we used 2 say: U 'N me against the WORLD! A2: Eh, Buddy? p3 - angle has changed so we no longer see A1's face A1: .... A2 (concerned): B-Buddy? p4 - angle switches sides so we see A1's face + head, which has turned into a globe with lines of latitude + longitude. He makes a devilish expression, and A2 freaks out, emitting 3 GIANT sweats. Also if we look back, A1 has long sharp canines + his collar is like that of a Dracula cape!! The vampire is a world??? what the fuck? GYAAA!!

skeleton enemies shoot leg bones at the human player in human vidcons, so what does a human enemy shoot at the skeleton player in skeleton vidcons? Severed leg? Gross guts?? Or maybe even a big fucked-up head. p1 - a defeated golem slumps against a riveted metal wall. The lizard pilot behind glass in the golem's chest cavity emits 3 sweats. Chappy Chappy: Alright, I basically get it as far as this place's whole 'deal' goes... CC: I'm gonna pass on clearing 8 more levels of this. p2 - close up of the hilt etc. of the daggerified magic sword CC uses from time to time. It has 2 adjustable rings at the top of the grip, CC is currently turning one with some effort. CC: Ok, it's later now, & I've illegally stacked the "spread" powerup 3x. CC: And I'm changing Vormauv's layer phasing to hit the collision essence. CC: ...overcoming this dimension's feeble resistance to outside mechanics, by just turning the ring harder. p3 - CC idly swings his sword, now 9 face projectiles shoot out each time. They are clipping through each other + the level geometry. CC (starting to fall thru the floor): Now I'll spam mes until- Ah, here we go. SFX (sword): ch-ch-chow p4 - CC falls, arms + legs crossed, thru a gradient-shaded endless space. The level above appears as featureless polygons, with a few support elements clearly not connected to anything else. CC: Like I thought, just a void down here. CC: Let's enter cryptobiosis & wait the whole thing out. p5 - The void is now pitch black, except for a glowing halo around a card that floats in front of CCs face, and spots to either side where more selectable cards presumably should be, but currently are not. ???: YOU WIN! ???: Choose (1) of your cards to take back to real life Card: Da Fool Card: Starting card. does nothing CC: Aw, man, I was supposed to be using CARDS this whole time?? Narration: fin.
p1 - Beireia is using the interdimensional capabilities of her dungeonbroken phone to hold a video call with Chappy Chappy, who is charging a giant face-projectile Phone (Chappy Chappy and huge projectile): VWO!-ectile, so can VWO!-ecord the VWO!-to me? Beireia: What?? I can't hear you over the spirit bomb or whatever you're charging! Phone: okVWO!-'m shVWO!-ng nVWO-eady? p2 - CC launches the huge projectile right over the phone, which, propped up on a rock, makes a cartoony surprise reaction, with 3 sweats. The projectile is a grotesque exaggeration of the human form, with 5 pupils per eye, a 2nd row of eyeballs, bulging muscles up and down the jawline, and many rows of incisor teeth where a tongue would normally be Phone: Whoa what the!?! p4 - CC excitedly picks up the phone CC: So? Did I look cool?? B: No not really! It had extra eyebrows + teeth etc. Was that from some powerup?? p5 CC: No, just charging... I been avoiding powerups since the 1st one turned my guys bold. (remembered scene where a shiny bald-headed projectile smashes a circular hole through some enemy) CC (seen through hole): This is bullshit! B: Huh? why go to the weird place if you're not gonna experiment? CC: I guess... p6 Narration: And so... CC (thinking)(shooting projectiles that are bald, have bunny ears, long twirly moustaches, vampire fangs, and 'Kano'-style cyborg eyes): I don't even know who I am anymore SFX (sword): chow Stupid-Looking Creature (getting blasted apart offscreen): <Ya got me!> Blyeg!
p1 - Chappy Chappy is in a weird video-gamey environment. Some of his own-face-shaped projectiles are traveling down a floating corridor toward him while crying. CC (into phone): I don't know, they go away. CC: They clip thru the wall, & go away. CC: Hold on, some're coming back. SFX: BOOP p2 - Charging toward the source of the returning projectiles, a sort of wheel of arms with a head in the middle, CC holds his sword high + shoots faces down, but they hit an energy shield and bounce off crying. CC: Looks like this guy repels Chappy element SFX (sword/face projectile): chow p3 - CC kicks clean through the energy shield, scattering irregular pentagons + smashing the creature's stone body CC: And its energy shield has an irregular pentagonal motif instead of hexagons CC: Gross! p4 - wreckage of the fight includes arrow-like tools the creature had been holding CC: It dropped those.. arrows it was wielding. They look weak, I'm leaving /em CC: There better not be some BS PUZZLE that needs em later p5 - a series of altars with arrow-shaped depressions. CC is facing them + charging a huge face projectile, which crackles with destructive energy Narration: Hey! That's cheating!!!
p1 - The 'Distortion Orb' (I797) emerges from its armor to loom glowing over Chappy Chappy, who is asleep in bed Distortion Orb (weird voice): Arise, Creature Chappy Chappy: Huh? Wha? CC: I'm no- CC: You're the creature! DO: I have created a new [untrans] with novel alien mechanism p2 - The DO projects its surface to fill the viewable area. Its tentacles conform to the currents and vortices that pattern the projection, as do its speech bubbles CC (sitting up, rubbing eyes): Alien? DO: You, among Creatures, possess sufficient [untrans] to clear it... CC: Ah? Yeah, naturally. p3 - The Orb's surface patterns separate, mix together, and reconstitute into a new reality. Fragments of CC's face form a distorted main instance and several smaller instances. Bubbles of the previous reality show dungeon denizens sleeping peacefully. Panel 4 is already forming in the background... CC: Well if CC: only I can do CC: it, can't be CC: helped, then, I guess CC (floating mouth fragment): seems like a pain CC: in the ass though p4 - CC jumps from one platform to another while swinging his usual sword (with the blade shrunk down to be a dagger), shooting projectiles that are just his own grinning head. The platforms and environment elements are a discordant mix of industrial and gothic styles. Just looking at the multiple background city skylines, u just know they scroll at different speeds! Stupid-Looking Creature (getting blasted apart by a projectile): <Ya got me!> Bleg! (An identical creature waits below on its own platform; a different type floats in space) CC: Oh Hell Yea! SFX (sword/face projectile): chow

The corn cobs are gone from his ears, and the plaque commemorating them is gone from the cube his TV rests on. Normal Man: Well, that's enough of that. TV (rocker): Sneecher wants 2 see me afte- TV (dial): click p2 - the TV shows a downtown scene of destruction, smoke billowing from broken buildings. The chyron reads 'scene of devastation' TV (news): -A rogue SNEECHER has attacked downtown! Scientists think a guy who reshapes reality manifested it. NM (looking at the camera, shooting out 3 sweats): They better not be talking about Me!! p3 TV (news): We fired the scientists for being woke/gay. NM (looking relieved): whew. TV (news): We'll solve the problem by being mean to minorities, etc. NM: Hmm. p4 NM (looking at the camera again): That stuff isn't my responsibility. I can't just reshape reality to be good, it reacts to my unconscious fears + expectations. NM: so don't be mad at me!

There's also a tiny lil treasure chest and some junk SA: Damn, at this point I nust gotta ditch these things! But litterbot's followin', ready to Zorch my ass, an nonea the chests're long enough anymore! Litterbot: ... p4 Narration: The next room after feeding them to a xorn: (SA and some Dorky Adventurer with a rifle are in a classic 'shrinking room' scenario, but the moving wall has a bunch of strange blocks placed onto it, leaving a conspicuous catalytic-converter-with-exhaust-pipe-shaped hole in the blocks. Small spikes on the moving wall can be seen through the gap) Dorky Adventurer: If we can't finish + disappear this tetris wall... we'll both be CRUSHED! DA (holding a stop sign and big pizza slice): and there's only weird-shaped crap in my inventory!! SA (freaking out, he is so mad): AAAAAAAAA!!!

Behind her are a bunch of drawers, books, bubbling chemical glassware, etc. SA: Yo Alchemist Guild I heard u like convertin shit, catalytically! Alchemist: No thanks, we don't generate a lot of NOx here... A: ..but there's about 1 platinum piece worth of metal in it, we could extract that for you. p4 SA: 1PP? Not too bad... I'll take it! A: Right. So, extraction costs... plus labor, guild fees... That'll be... (SA preemptively does a falling-over sweat-take) A: 1.2 PP each. A: Whoa, he flipped before I even said it!

Did this guy just say "hot for SNEECHER"?? p2 - On the TV screen, which is like 11" diagonal, the rocker is prancing around in a dumb pose. NM is leaning forward and we now see his ears are plugged up with full-sized corn cobs. The TV rests atop a marble cube with a plaque reading "Award for corcobs in ear". (NM's dialogue bubble was covering it up in p1) NM: Seriously, bro? SNEECHER? TV (Rocker): I got it bad! oh! oh! Soo bad! oh! oh! p3 - the view has pulled back some more and we now see an official-looking "Reality Reshaper Diploma" on the wall. NM has turned to address you, the reader TV (Rocker): I'm hot for Sneecher NM: He just said it again! What the heck??
p1 - A panicked kobold is reporting to SokoBane, the Bane clone with cutesy eyes who runs the Sokoban sub-dungeon Kobold: Boss! Boss!! Some FUCKERS* are pulling crates!! (you can only push crates in Sokoban, not pull) SokoBane (enraged): <silly voice> WHAT?? Narration: * Kobolds can say fuck words p2 - SB has already caught one of the Fuckers, raised them over his (SB's) head, then slammed them down on his knee in the classic "Bane breaking Batman's spine" move. The Caught Fucker's shirt is tearing from the impact. CF looks like some weird mutant, and the other one is wearing a big ski mask that goes all the way down over his shoulders, and the eye/mouth holes are weird. SB: If you break soko-rules... I... BREAK YOU! CF: eeeyaAAAA!! Spine/Knee SFX: KLANG SB: OW! p3 - SB is clutching his knee, from which a pain star emits. CF and Other Fucker are gloating. CF's shirt is ripped away, revealing that he was wearing a reinforced, enchanted warehouse hernia girdle. OF is wearing a bellyband that matches his ski mask thing. Both waist armors glow with power. OF: Haha! I told you, bro! Bane always uses that finisher! CF: Uhuhu! Now that we sold all our armor to max out lumbar support, he's practically helpless! SB: GRR! SB: I'm not Bane! That's a whole other guy! CF: Yeah, the 'soko' part. Do you get 1 other move from that? SB: I'll show you... p4 - We zoom out; it's now clearer the Fuckers 2 were standing in the crate-sized space between two crates in p3. SB runs to the other side of one of these crates so fast that he leaves a dust cloud shaped like him behind. He then shoves the crate into the other one, completely obliterating CF + OF. Their liquified remains spray out of the millimeter-wide gap between the two crates, as do a shitload of femurs and some pale goo, like brains or adipose tissue or whatever. Another pain star emits from SB's knee as he shoves the crate. CF + OF (death cry): AW! SFX: SLAM! Narration: He can move to the other side of crates real fast!!
p1 - An orc rides atop a 2-tiered parade float. The float is made to look like dungeon brickwork, it says "dungeon time" on it, and a skull is spitting out doubloons on the front. The orc holds in its right hand a sign reading "kill me at: CHAPPY'S COOL DUNGEON", and readies to throw a string of beads with the left. Large crowds of jubilant onlookers wave their arms in the air behind barricades on either side of the float. Jubilant Onlookers: Yaaaay! JO: Wooo! JO: Throw beads! Orc! Orc: Ok... me throw bead now!.. p2 - A scruffy man reaches out to snatch the beads before they get within reach of a small child, who looks dismayed. Three big sweats are flying off of the child Onlookers are scandalized Scruffy Man (gloating): Oh yeah! These special dungeon beads're minal mine! Too bad, kid! SFX: Yoink p3 - SM has placed the beads around his neck and they immediately contracted to a smaller diameter than his neck, squeezing it. His face is bulging out and his tongue sticks out of his mouth. SM: GGKHGHK!! Onlooker1: ha ha Onlooker2: Serves urite p4 Orc: Oopsie! It was "cursed amulet of strangulation"! Crowd: yay orc! C: good orc! Orc: Me was trying to kill CHILD C: boo! C: bad orc!
p1 - Beireia is presenting documents at the head of the conference room table Beireia: Ok, dungeon prohibitions are really slipping. I was able to get us a float in the big parade. B: ...but there's a strict power level limit. We get one orc, basically. p2 - Ratlord is sitting in on the meeting. If you are familiar with the usual seating arrangement, it is clear he has dragged a chair from somewhere and squeezed himself in behind Alex and The Lich. A rat is perched on his left shoulder Ratlord: We could- to make better use of our power limit, instead of 1 orc, I propose we fill the float with a thousand rats. B: Rats are common upstairs. They don't provide the 'wow' factor of an orc, etc. p3 - a montage of sub-panels showing the hypothetical parade orc being overkilled by the frenzied crowd. The sub-panels are shaped and arranged like the shattered fragments of the dead orc, who is also pictured in one of the sub-panels. Ratlord and Smarthat are also shown, and a bunch of rats being cheered on by the funhaving crowd. R: B-but humans go berserk when they see an orc. Frenzied Crowd: Kill! FC: Die Orc! FC: Orc! FC: Kill! FC: Die orc die!! FC: Yaaa!! R: Rats are a safer option in that regard. Narration: (Simulation) Funhaving Crowd: Whoo! FC: Go Rats! FC: Rat! Rat! p4 - Chappy Chappy is making a call with a phone shaped like an old land-line handset. He is making an exasperated face like "can you believe this shit" at what he is hearing Chappy Chappy (to Ratlord): You can't generalize from adventurers. Upstairs guys will like the orc, probably. Especially when there's beads. CC: But just in case, I'll take out some insurance on that orc... Phone (computer voice): ASSESSED VALUE: ___0___ DOLLARS
