Tim Purdum @timpurdum.dev · Dec 21 It's maybe _slightly_ more verbose. 3 LOC to declare the class (declaration and braces). But again, you're asking for something the language was just never designed to do. Every language is a tradeoff of features and limitations.

I know that in the OOP frenzy of the 90's (I joined the bandwagon as well), it seemed a good idea to see everything as objects and classes :) But in hindsight, it was just a mistake. C# already has namespaces, so why not let us declare functions directly, like in Kotlin, Swift, or Dart?
