Meanwhile, the study, finished as of a month ago, went from this, to this, to this. OK, we still have a packing blanket pinned up instead of a curtain, but we're getting there.

The thing everyone tells you about totally renovating a house is that you will be exhausted, skint, decision-fatigued & permanently dusty, & that you'lljust start pretending that loads of problems simply don't exist. And they're right. But now I have a whole-wall cork board, so I'm cool with it.
