I absolutely remember that moment, also, and remember thinking ’Is it? Really?’ after Lawson’s claim.
My strong memory, in fact, is of Tom Paulin - sober as a nun, of course - rearing up from the depths of the sofa like a fluking whale and nearly screaming 'Oooh noooo, et's alllllllll SPONDEEEEEEEES!' before slumping once more into its scarlet billows before Mark Lawson's startled gaze.
