Toast Hatter @toasthatter.bsky.social · 6d Wanted to watch something over the top today, so I watched 2008's Wanted and i sure got what I wanted. Wanted follows Wesley, a nihilistic accountant, who finds out he's the son of a famous assassin and is tasked with hunting down the man who killed him.

Movie plot wise is very much your bog standard chosen one movie, they choose Wesley because they think he's the only one who can take down his father's killer. Even follows a lot of the tropes setup by the Matrix really.
