It’s the same brand of vacuous sloganeering which has come to characterise much of the Party’s messaging. Worse that it stands as placeholder for any sort of meaningful policy.

Having seen the trouncing UK Labour has had in local elections it’s hard not to extrapolate. Last election their strategy was very similar to NZ Labour’s now: keep your head down and promise little. Turns out hoping voters continue hating your opponent more than you doesn’t have a long shelf life.
