Who am I to tell you what you should do? But since you asked, and because I have always appreciated your contributions to this forum, here is my humble opinion on the matter. Okay, so imagine this fable: racist, male-supremacist, anti-abortion, pro-oil, democracy-destroying extremists - in league with the worst dictators the world has ever produced - build poop factories all over the planet to steal everyone’s jobs and get rich. At first, the factories were supposed to produce magic dust. No one had ever actually seen real magic dust with their own eyes, so people were curious. The factories start running, but in the end, only poop comes out. So they convince the media (which they own) that the poop is inevitable and a necessary step. After a few years, their poop is everywhere: it settles on the streets, drifts in through windows, and coats your furniture. Now, you struggle to see what’s on your computer screen. You can taste it in your cereal and smell it on your clothes. You start hearing everyone loudly demanding that it all stop. Certain individuals (you never quite know where they come from) tell you that this poop can be incredibly useful for thousands of things, like... hmm... fertilizing the soil ? They hit you with a compelling argument - strangely the same one snake-oil salesmen used back in the day: it will cure every disease. So, everyone speculates on the poop’s future value, and its (imaginary) price skyrockets. Meanwhile, no one is actually cured. Farmers tell you the new poop is toxic and that they prefer the good old-fashioned, healthier poop of the past. And all the while, it keeps piling up. Some people, having swallowed so much of it (and because of some weird stuff it contains), become addicted and fall ill. Then, representatives from these factories come and ask if you’d like to work for them. The pay is very attractive. It could allow you to buy airtight windows, clean clothes, and the best cleaner on the market. Would you work for them?
