In case you want to feel better about your day, little sidebar about a recent FTR (longterm power trading) f*ckaroo that MISO did to some participants on a node remapping. I'll lead with the damage for just the upcoming Winter/Spring by participant (crude MTM est), then a thread ~$6.5m hit

FTRs in MISO let you trade up to a year ahead, and one of the lesser known risks is that MISO can discontinue a tradeable node and "remap" it onto something similar. Most of the time this is without consequence, but in this case they decided..
