more specifically, this is a non-destructive process, so you can continue editing shapes after warping. there are several other warping plugins for figma, but they all either render to a 3d texture (destructive, creates bitmap artifacts) or aren't actually perspective warps

i've been trying to figure out the math for 4 point perspective transforms like this for years now... (on and off) the last time I looked into it, I got as far as (finally) learning matrices and dove deep into videos/lessons on linear algebra and perspective projection and homogeneous coordinates
