Tornado Archive @tornadoarchive.com · May 25 2024 was a very busy year for tornadoes in the US, so it's taken a while to get all the data processed. We're in the final stages of this task, and the 2024 US data will hopefully be released soon. We're also working on getting updated European data from ESWD, hopefully this summer.

You may have noticed some curvature in the map on the above image. We've switched to plotting everything on a globe instead of a flat map, which has the advantage of reducing distortion near the poles, in addition to looking pretty cool. This will be released with the 2024 data.
