AI 2027 We wrote a scenario that represents our best guess about what that might look like.1 It’s informed by trend extrapolations, wargames, expert feedback, experience at OpenAI, and previous forecasting successes.2 What is this? The CEOs of OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic have all predicted that AGI will arrive within the next 5 years. Sam Altman has said OpenAI is setting its sights on “superintelligence in the true sense of the word” and the “glorious future.”3

Emailing Oregon senators: I’m calling it, Jeff. Time for Schumer to go. There’s no room for acquiescence to fascists. To suggest signing onto this horrendous CR is better than letting Trump own his weakness is a shocking failure of imagination. We need leaders with vision—both in understanding the cruelty this regime is capable of as well as offering an alternative that inspires resistance. Darker things are coming and we should make room for someone prepared to stand in unwavering solidarity with the opposition.
