It’s a very different story and game than FFT, but that’s it a bad thing!
I actually think Tactics Advance has a far better story than Tactics. Matsuno's political stories are boring and overrated honestly. You don't see nuanced discussion of whether Ramza is actually the villain or if he's right or wrong all these years later, Advance is actually morally challenging.
Yeah! The Advance FFT games are my favourite ones. The premise and presentation is just so charming, and yeah, still hits on the storytelling.
Yes, but the best part is when you get to shove enemies off of ledges.
One of the best games of all time imo
I skipped this one because I was a dumb teenager. "It's not serious like FFT! I don't like it!" The presence of the judge made it feel too videogamey for 13 year old me, who wanted immersion above all for some reason I don't remember. I wasn't fair to the game, I should give it an honest try :)
Talk about a game that needs a modern remaster—or at least a port!
