13x cheaper than EFS for large-file workloads. That's what AWS S3 Files costs. But only if you use it for the right workload!!

It lets you mount an existing S3 bucket over NFS and access it with standard POSIX file operations from Lambda. 1 TB of large files (>1 MiB) costs ~$23.55/month. The same on EFS Standard runs $307.20/month. The catches are worth knowing before you migrate anything:
