That, does look bad
It feels like when there is a proper sentence or paragraph, the purpose is temporary instance of grounding. Everything else is to emphasize contrasting viewpoints or trauma, and mental spiraling. Unsure if that's the case for the whole book as I haven't read it
Like I get that this could be a great tool if used for emphasis—except the entire book is comprised of mostly single-sentence paragraphs and I was slowly going insane
