the baked pastry braid, lightly browned on top. a lot of syrupy strawberry juice has leaked out one side. most of the braid strips have disconnected from the base
The small pastries are out of the oven! but still on the pan. most of them have fallen apart at the outer walls, looking splayed open. the strawberry filling has spilled out a little bit, but the cream cheese filling mostly stayed put. the edges are ever so slightly golden brown, which i am counting as a win.
the previously shown pastry bread base, moved onto a cookie sheet. (some of the side strips have fallen off). the middle third is generously slathered with cream cheese filling, and a trail of strawberry sugar slurry has been laid on top.

The central north side of the farm. In the right half of the shot is the chicken coop and pen, showing off the large area of blue grass, a single tree for shade for the chickens, and a small fish-and-trash processing station with five crab pots set in the little creek bordering the pen. Also visible are half a dozen or so kegs lining the fence in the otherwise empty southern pen. In the left half of the shot, right up against the border of the pen, is the ruined greenhouse. It's been surrounded with a two tile thick ring of stone pathway, and all grass and debris has been cleared out around it, but no effort has yet been made to keep the wilderness from creeping back int the area. Along the northern edge is the meandering little creek that separates the farm from Grandpa's shrine. Trees are densely packed along the far side of the creek, saplings allowed to spread and grow unchecked for over a year.
